The Mets lost to the Marlins again and things are really looking bad for the Mets right now who play with a combination of aloofness and apathy. Hopefully the god of Thunder pitching today can get the Mets back on track, and maybe save Callaway’s job while he’s at it.

Noah is 3-3 over 9 starts and 57.0 innings with a 4.74 ERA, 3.62 FIP, 1.228 WHIP and 82 ERA+. He’s been a yo-yo pitcher since April 27th going back and forth between bad starts and good starts and right now, it’s time for a bad start. Hopefully he can break the pattern this afternoon. In two of his last three starts he has tossed a combined 17.0 innings allowing 2 runs on 8 hits. In the other start he allowed 5 runs, 4 earned over 6.0 innings. Noah was 3-0 in as many starts against the Marlins last year, holding them to 5 runs, 4 earned, over 22.0 innings (a 1.64 ERA). The Marlins have the following numbers against him:

The Mets draw Sandy Alcantara to send them off to New York. Sandy is 1-4 over 8 games and 44.0 innings with a 5.11 ERA, 5.25 FIP, 1.636 WHIP and 77 ERA+. In his last three starts he has tossed 16.0 innings allowing 13 runs, 11 earned over 19 hits and 11 walks. His last start was against the Mets and he allowed 4 runs over 5.2 innings from 8 hits and 2 walks. The Mets have the following numbers against him:
