The Mets got strong pitching yesterday and the difference maker ended up being a 2-run homer in the first inning by Javier Baez. No more runs, for either team, were scored from that point on and the Mets took the loss. While the current winning streak was snapped, the Mets look to start a new one tonight against the Nationals.
