Jacob deGrom is 3-6 over 14 starts and 82.2 innings with a 3.38 ERA, 3.12 FIP, 1.125 WHIP and 120 ERA+. In his last five starts he has pitched 30.2 innings with a 2.35 ERA and a .228 opponents batting average. Earlier this season against Atlanta he allowed 3 runs over 5.0 innings while striking out 9. In 15 games and 83.1 innings he has a 2.92 ERA, 4.23 FIP, 1.188 WHIP and 157 ERA+ (it’s his best season by a long shot in terms of ERA+). Since the start of May he has started 8 games with a 0.81 ERA and an opponents batting average of .137. This stretch lowered his ERA from 5.35 all the way down to 2.92. His best start in an otherwise forgettable April was against the Mets where he allowed 1 run over 6.0 innings. The Mets have the following numbers against him:
