The Mets and Nationals wrap up their three game series in Queens with a rubber match this afternoon. The Mets had a come from behind victory on Friday night erasing a 6-1 deficit to win 7-6. The Nationals had an extra innings come from behind victory last night overcoming an early 3-0 hole winning 4-3. The Mets got an awesome inning from Syndergaard last night and a good inning from Harvey before he fell apart and allowed 3 runs.
Now its up to Jacob deGrom to close out the season on a positive note and he fights the flu. He is 15-9 in 30 games and 195.1 innings with a 3.55 ERA, 3.55 FIP and 1.198 WHIP. He is coming off a strong start of 7.0 innings allowing 1 run in 5 hits and 2 walks.
