In his last start he allowed only 3 hits and 2 walks leading to 2 runs, 1 earned over 7.0 innings of work against the Brewers. He missed the Pirates last weekend, has never faced the Pirates before in his major league career and has never faced any Pirates as members of other teams, so everyone is getting a first look at Robert tonight.
Tyler Glasnow for the Pirates is 2-4 over 45.1 innings and 10 starts this year with a 6.95 ERA, 4.96 FIP and 1.897 WHIP. His last start was against the Mets and it didn’t go so well for Tyler as the Mets got him for 8 hits leading to 5 runs over 5.0 innings, ending a two game stretch of good performances for Tyler (before that he had a blow up against the Diamondbacks).
