Game Preview: Nationals vs Mets

The Mets just try to do something positive against the Nationals today as they try to look beyond the last several games. Today’s game will be the Mets debut of Aaron Harang, a player the Mets have been linked to multiple times over the years and now finally have. Aaron Harang was 5-11 for the Mariners over 22 games this season with a 5.76 ERA. Last year he made one start against the Nationals allowing 2 ER and 7 hits over 4.1 innings. At the end of August he pitched 3.1 innings against the Mets walking 3, striking out 5 allowing one earned run. The Mets have the following numbers against Roark:
