I’m a little late on this for the 2012 season, but I like to preview the more interesting promotions that different teams will be giving out to fans. Today we will go through the American League with the National League tomorrow and the Mets the next day.
Twins – I think the Twins had the same promotion last year, but doesn’t matter. Creative promotions are creative promotions and even though the season is new, I still love the idea of the Twins fishing lure:
Tigers – April is a popular month for teams to give out calendars, but the Tigers decided to do something different for the kids, who get to build their own perpetual calendar:
Athletics – A lot of teams give away bobbleheads, which are always a quality giveaway. However the bobbleheads that make this list have to have an interesting base, or just have a high quality look to them, which this one for Rollie Fingers has:
Rangers: I love when teams are celebrating a pennant or a championship, they provide a knick knack for fans:
Mariners: You can always count on the Mariners to think of something creative. To help encourage composting, they will be giving fans kitchen catchers:
