Game Preview: Mets @ Diamondbacks

The Mets go the west coast as they face the first place Arizona Diamondbacks tonight. The Mets dropped the series finale to the Padres yesterday, in a game where they got a lot of players on the base, but couldn't bring them home. Tonight Dillon Gee will get the start as he goes against Ian Kennedy.

Dillon Gee is 10-3 on the season with a 3.93 ERA. He struggled in his last start against the Braves as he allowed 5 ER in 5 innings of work. His second start of the season was against the Diamondbacks as he allowed 2 earned runs, 4 total in 6 innings. Arizona has the following numbers against Gee:

The Mets bats will try to score some runs today against Ian Kennedy who is 14-3 this season with a 3.20 ERA. In his last three starts he has pitched 21.0 innings with a 3.00 ERA.
