1) The Mets held on to win a close last night by the score of 6-5 in an amazing atmosphere San Juan Series. David Wright increased his totals to 24 doubles and 63 RBI's.
2) Speaking of Wright, All-Star voting ends today and D Wright in the last week jumped from trailing Polanco by 130,000 votes down to 22,000 votes. So Close. Come on lets get him in!
3) One would have to think that the struggles the last few days by Mets starting pitching will give the Mariners more leverage, especially with the recent success of Lee.
4) The Mets are no longer interested in Millwood or Westbrook. Phew.
